Saleha J. Khan
Saleha J. Khan is a human rights and social justice advocate and educator with more than 20 years of experience in training with law enforcement and public service sector working with diverse communities in Ontario, Canada and abroad.
Saleha has been at the forefront of creating safe, bold, and inclusive workspaces in Ontario since 2002. Her leadership in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging (DEIA-B) focuses on building psychologically safe environments where employees and administration feel connected and valued. Through this approach, she enhances long-term employee engagement, leadership sustainability, and organizational progress while ensuring fiscally responsible outcomes.
With over two decades of expertise, Saleha specializes in:
● Equity & Inclusion Policy Development: Designing, implementing, and evaluating public sector and corporate policies, procedures, and systems related to human rights protections, cultural competency, cross-cultural communication, and change management.
● Community Relations & Stakeholder Engagement: Bringing over 23 years of experience in developing relationships across sectors, strengthening collaborations and partnerships to drive meaningful social and economic progress.
● Crisis Communications & Leadership: Leading critical communications strategies and co-developing fiscally responsible stakeholder collaborations and Indigenous partnerships.
● Anti-Oppression & Human Rights Advocacy: Committed to dismantling systemic barriers, disrupting anti-Indigenous, anti-Black, and anti-immigrant racism, and promoting gender equity and human rights.
● Employee Resource Groups & Leadership Development: Successfully establishing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Internal Support Networks (ISNs), and Social Networks (SNs) in various organizations.
● Transformative Coaching & Conflict Resolution: Offering mentorship and empowerment to leaders navigating workplace challenges and professional conflicts.
